Support Cancer Research at University of Galway
University of Galway’s Cancer research programme is changing the prognosis for patients diagnosed with cancer through ground-breaking research and access to locally- and internationally-based clinical trials.
Please consider making a donation below in support of this important research.
Led by academic and clinical researchers, our work spans the spectrum of cancer research: fundamental science to understand the biology of cancer, translational research to address clinical questions in the laboratory and clinical trials to give patients access to the newest treatments and lifestyle interventions.
Our researchers have expertise in colorectal, blood, prostate, breast, lung and ovarian cancers and work across University of Galway disciplines of Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Nursing. Your donation will support vital research across all these areas as well as collaborative work with other research centres including Cell Therapy, Cancer Biobanking, Medical Devices, and Cancer Trials.
As the academic partner of the HSE West and North West our research is closely linked with the clinical cancer service at University Hospital Galway and regional hospitals. We are accredited as an OECI Cancer Centre by the Organisation of European Cancer Institutes.
